Integrated Science 7, Strategies for Success

Homeroom: Room 329
Phone: (907) 348-8626

Welcome! I am a lifelong Alaskan and former environmental scientist who loves science, teaching, and Goldenview! I love just about anything outdoors (hiking, running, camping, climbing, skiing, hunting, fishing, diving, you name it), sports (go Chicago! Go Seawolves!), cooking, travelling, and carpentry, just to name a few. I have a Bachelor's degree in Environment, Economics, and Politics from Claremont-McKenna College and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Science.

I look forward to a great year - in IS7 we will be focusing on an interdisciplinary survey of science topics, including elements of biology, ecology, chemistry, geology, astronomy, and physics. In Strategies, we will be focusing on building inquisitive habits and critical thinking and developing organizational and study skills. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.
