iPhone‌Bring Your Own Device

‌‌BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. It allows students to bring their own computing devices, such as smartphones, laptops, e-readers, tablets or other mobile gadgets, to school during the school day for educational purposes. Beginning in 2013-14, ASD will begin Phase 1 of BYOD in four schools.

As part of the reorganization within the Information Technology Department, the Applications Training Team (ATT) has changed to provide more efficient support. ATT becomes the Project Management Office (PMO) and provides project management and facilitates business processes for the district.

The Ed Tech staff works with other departments to integrate technology into classrooms and train staff to use new technology.
