Accessing Information from the Dock

When an application is open, you can click and hold its icon in the Dock to see a menu of options. With most applications, you can choose to go to any open windows, locate the application on your hard disk, or quit the application. Certain applications provide additional options. For example, iTunes lets you go to the next song in your playlist right from the Dock.
