If you’re switching from a PC to a Mac, or simply need to share files with a PC user, you’ll be glad to know that Mac OS X makes it easy. You can connect to a PC on your local network the same way you would connect to another Mac. In addition to connecting to PCs on your network, you can set your Mac to act as a Windows file server. This allows PCs on the network to connect to your Mac as if it were just another PC on their network.
