Setting Up a .Mac Slide Show

In addition to all the screen savers that come with Mac OS X, and the fact that you can create your own custom screen saver using the images in your Pictures folder, you have yet another option when it comes to customizing your Mac OS X screen saver. You can use images on the Internet, such as images from a friend’s or family member’s website, for example.
 
In System Preferences, you simply set up your Screen Effects slide show to use pictures from a .Mac member’s public slide show. You can even set the .Mac slide show to use images from multiple .Mac accounts, allowing you to create a custom slide show using pictures of all your friends and family.
