Linking Contacts, Events, and Tasks

By using links in Entourage, you can make meaningful connections among all your Microsoft Office projects. For example, by linking a meeting on your calendar to the contact you’re meeting, you can quickly get driving directions to your contact’s location. By linking the same meeting to your list of tasks, you can easily find out what you’re supposed to do before the meeting.

You can even link items in Entourage to files in other Microsoft Office applications, which allows you to quickly open related files without having to search for them. For example, if you need an Excel spreadsheet for a particular event, link it to your calendar. You’ll be able to access the linked file with a single click.
