With Microsoft Word, you can easily create many types of documents. And the Word templates in the Project Gallery make creating these documents so much easier. You don’t have to start with a blank document when you want to create a fax cover sheet or book report, for example.
If you do want to start with a blank document, however, you have that option, too—from within the Project Gallery or by turning off the Project Gallery. When the Project Gallery is turned off, a blank document appears by default when you open Word.
