K-8 math vendor meetings

Opportunity for parents and community to review vendor materials

During the summer of 2012, a committee of ASD staff and teachers conducted an initial review of math curriculum materials submitted by vendors, as part of the district’s K-8 math review. The public also provided input during this initial review phase.

 

The review committee has narrowed the list to six vendors. These vendors will present their materials in a series of public meetings.

All meetings are open to the public and will be broadcast on ASD-TV cable channel 14. The programs will also be available online through ASD-TV’s video on demand service. Visit www.asdk12.org/ASDTV for more information.

 

Additionally, these materials will be on display for parent and community feedback throughout October and November. Following public input, the committee will conduct field tests at a number of schools across the district.
