Facebook connection brings nearly $40,000 to ASD schools
Earlier this year, the Kids In Need Foundation contacted Catholic Social Services via Facebook. Catholic Social Services put them in contact with ASD's Migrant Education Department and Child in Transition/Homeless Program. As a result, fourteen ASD schools with a high number of low-income students will begin receiving school supplies this week, totaling $37,448. This was KINF's first donation within Alaska.

For more information on the foundation, log on to www.kidsinneed.net or check out their Facebook page.
