Alaska Native Cultural Charter School
Mission Statement: Alaska Native Cultural Charter School builds student excellence through traditional cultural learning.
ANCCS is open to all students in grades K-6. The school will incorporate active engagement with the Alaska Native community, offer students a curriculum focused on Alaska Native culture and a rigorous academic program based on the inquiry method to enhance academic achievement.

Aquarian Charter
Aquarian is designed for high-achieving students in grades K-6. Families
are involved in their child's education, each helping
with one or more units of study and helping with class
performances and field trips. Homework is limited to
experiential and fun enrichment activities. The language
arts curriculum includes phonics and whole language
instruction, and in math, both computation and conceptual
skills are taught. Technology and instruction in a
second language also are integral parts of the curriculum.

Eagle Academy Charter
At Eagle Academy, students are placed according to their individually assessed instructional levels in language arts and math. For all other subjects (social studies, science, art, music, PE and technology) students are grouped by grade level. Eagle Academy uses a phonetic approach (Spalding) to teach reading, writing and spelling; and quality children’s literature is emphasized. Saxon Math is structured in incremental learning steps, which is effective for retaining and applying mathematical concepts. The Core Knowledge History and Geography textbook series is utilized for social studies. Scott Foresman Science offers a combination of content and hands-on learning. Eagle Academy’s standards meet or exceed both ASD and State Standards, and Spalding’s multi-sensory direct-teaching method is employed throughout the program.

Family Partnership Charter
Family Partnership is a K-12, home-based program directed by families in partnership with certified teachers. Using a financial allocation, families create Individualized Lesson Plans and course designs that are varied and unique. Students home school, are tutored, take classes within our program and at area high schools, colleges, and online programs. Students are also able to access Special Educations services and/or participate in after-school sports and activities at their neighborhood schools.

Frontier Charter
Frontier Charter School is a tuition free public school and is part of the Anchorage School District. We offer customized services specifically designed to maximize the benefits of homeschooling. We are set apart from the neighborhood schools. We offer personalized curriculum to allow each student to reach his/her potential. In addition we offer every student a free individualized learning profile that includes diagnostic achievement testing and cognitive evaluations. Highland Tech Charter
Highland Tech is a middle and high school program that incorporates
project-based education in a rigorous learning environment
immersed with technology. Students will gain the skills
necessary to become thoughtful, engaged citizens prepared
for the world of work or continuing education. Paralleling
the academics, students will be provided opportunities
to work "in the field" on individual projects through
internships and professional experiences. Highland Tech
works closely with Anchorage businesses, professional
organizations and government agencies.
