The ARRA Impact Aid is a federal formula grant that was distributed to the ASD through the State of Alaska. Impact Aid funds are being used for physical improvements to Fort Richardson and Elmendorf Air Force Base schools, including:

Aurora Elementary multi-purpose room master planning and playground addition and drainage upgrades

Orion Elementary intercom system replacement and sprinkler system upgrades

Ursa Major Elementary playground drainage upgrades

Mount Iliamna Elementary athletic floor replacement and ventilation duct cleaning

Mount Spurr Elementary drainage
-
HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) duct cleaning for Orion, Mount Spurr and Ursa Major elementary schools
