Anchorage School Board approves boundary changes |
May 1, 2006 - The Anchorage School Board approved Superintendent Comeau's recommendation for changes to the middle school boundaries in the Anchorage bowl at their May 1st meeting. These changes will go into effect for the 2007-2008 school year.
A final decision regarding Eagle River/Chugiak area middle school
boundaries for the 2007-2008 school year will occur following additional public
process in the fall of 2006. |

Superintendent Comeau recommends Scenario 1 |
| April 6, 2006 - After reviewing all scenarios, the task force recommendation, public input and other data, Superintendent Comeau announced her recommendation of Scenario 1 to the Anchorage School Board.The public also has the opportunity to give testimony to the School Board members during the April 10th meeting and again on May 1st. |

Task Force Recommends Scenario 1 to Superintendent Comeau |
| March 31, 2006 - Following three public hearings and a review of all public testimony, the Task Force of middle school parents, students and principals decided to forward Scenario 1 as an advisory recommendation to Superintendent Carol Comeau. She will review the scenario, the data, e-mails, and other information she has received and will make her recommendation to the School Board prior to the April 10, 2006 meeting. The public will also have the opportunity to give testimony to the School Board members during the April 10th meeting and again on May 1st. |
