 Hello! My name is Theresa Heckart, the art teacher at Nicholas J. Begich Middle School. I am so excited to be apart of this great school! I strongly believe that middle school is an important transition in a young person’s life. Middle school opens up very unique opportunities for young people, in terms of electives and after school programs. I encourage students to expose themselves to as many experiences as possible!
In terms of personal art, I love to paint! I often find inspiration from my family and interesting places I have traveled. When I am not painting or drawing, I enjoy being outside. I especially love running, biking, and skate skiing. |
