Transitioning comments

Romig Middle School Check-in

Vajra Miller – assigned to Romig Middle School

Throughout the transition of relocating schools I have felt very supported.  While my heart and allegiance truly remains with the Clark school and vision, I am enjoying my time at Romig.  This is really the best of two worlds.  Being able to experience another school and also at the same time seeing Clark to become the best of the best, preparing to educate young people for a future of greatness.

Troy Hodge -  security assigned to Romig Middle School

Transitioning from Clark to Romig Middle School, was a very smooth process.  The staff at the school, without hesitation, embraced and welcomed me.   I truly feel that I am a part of the Romig Middle School Family.

Clark was the tightest school ever!  My favorite team was Diamond and my favorite teacher was Mrs. Miller.  I will never forget.  We shared a lot of memories.  Clark rules! -Tico Pelenato, student

Clark was really fun; from the classes to the assemblies.  The teachers and security guards were the best!  I miss everyone at Clark, even our teachers.  Go falcons!  -Ula Fitisemanu, student

One thing that I liked about Clark is that I was taught to be smart in every one of my classes.  You go Falcons! -See Yang, student

Goldenview Middle School Check-in

Stephanie Asplund  - ISS teacher assigned to Goldenview Middle School

My name is Stephanie Asplund. I have transitioned from Clark Middle School to Goldenview, where I am currently a counselor. At Clark I was the ISS/Choices Program coordinator and I dearly miss it. I will be returning to Clark as soon as those beautiful new doors open. I can't wait to see the plans/colors we worked so hard on choosing as a committee. The Mt. View students, staff and community deserve the best and in my opinion that is exactly what they will get when the staff of the new Clark Middle School re-opens.

I thank the voters for recognizing the great need and in turn I believe they will see what a great impact their yes vote will make on a school full of middle school students. Thank you to Cessilye Williams for her leadership and constant positive outlook. She is respected by her students, staff and the community. We have definitely embraced her as a positive leader! As a mentor to me over many years I can't wait to get back to working with her!

Sincerely,
Stephanie Asplund
