 Hello! My name is Amber Fischer and I am a special education teacher at the Nicholas J. Begich Middle School. I am very excited to work in a school so rich in culture and diversity. I am originally from Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May 2005 with a degree in Elementary and Middle School Education along with licensures in Emotionally Disturbed and Learning Disabilities. A couple of months later, I moved to Anchorage and since then I have enjoyed working at Mirror Lake Middle School as a teacher and coach. In my spare time, I enjoy all athletics, hiking, camping and reading. I look forward to working with your child for a fun and exciting 2007-2008 school year.
