 Hi, my name is Deborah Mulcahy and I'm honored to say I'm your new librarian for the Nicholas J. Begich Middle School. I have worked with middle school students in a variety of roles in other states and in the Anchorage School District. I've recently completed my Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and am anxious to put my knowledge and experience to work in our school. I enjoy living in Alaska and experiencing the variety of opportunities we all have here. I like sharing what I learn and learning from others, which makes me a true lifelong learner. I look forward to working with both students and staff to make the middle school years productive and enjoyable.
