Greetings,
This is my fifteenth year as a teacher in the Anchorage School District. During the past fifteen years, with the exception of about six weeks, my entire ASD tenure has been spent at Clark Middle School. Working with the diverse students, families, community, and staff has been a sincere pleasure. In addition to being a teacher for ASD, I have also been a part of educational institutions in South Carolina, Germany, Maryland, and for the U.S. Army.
My husband, two daughters and I came to Anchorage in 1991 on a four- year assignment as a part of the Fort Richardson Army community. Still here, sixteen years later, we have found ourselves embedded in the Anchorage Community at large. Currently, my husband is still an active duty Army Officer stationed in Korea. My youngest daughter is a sophomore at East Anchorage High School. My oldest daughter is a Hampton University graduate who now lives in Maryland. |
