Mrs. Hamre's class

Mrs. Hamre has 23 kids in her third grade class. There are 11 boys and 12 girls. Her class is studying Eskimos in Social Studies. They have made spirit masks in art and they are very beautiful. In the mornings they do workshop. They are going to the Native Heritage Center for a fieldtrip.

Spirit Masks

The spirit masks are masks that Native Americans use to resemble different spirits.

Spirit masks are usually made of wood, ivory, and bird feathers.

These masks were made in art class. Here you can see different masks made by kids in her class.

Mrs. Hamre would love to get e-mail from you.
