During the regular school year, MyHigh classes take approximately 16-18 weeks to complete, just like regular classes. Students need to stay on schedule according to the pacing guide in the class. If students are not able to stay on the scheduled pace, they must be in contact with their teacher to alter the due dates. MyHigh teachers use the pacing guides to determine progress grades and quarter grades, so it is best to stay on pace.
During summer session, classes are compressed in time, so students must work in their class more hours each day. Summer classes end June 26th, so all work needs to be complete by the 26th of June.Did you know that you may be able to log into your class in moodle before you receive your login email?
You should give it a try -- just log into the ASD Moodle (http://moodle.asdk12.org) using lastname.firstname and your network password. Once logged in you can click on your name at the top-right corner to get to your Moodle profile page. You’ll see your course listed and can just click on the course name to access it. You’ll need to edit your profile to include your email address if it isn't already listed. And, if you do NOT see your class listed in your profile, please let us know right away, as there may be a problem with your enrollment.
Registration for Summer School classes CLOSED May 17th.
MyHigh Summer School classes start as early as April 16th and end June 26th. All course work must be complete by June 26th to get grades posted.
Students may take ONE online class with MyHigh this summer. Cost is $100.
The last day to register is May 17th (that's the last day of the regular school year).
