Parents Safety Notes: Watch for children going to school and crossing the street. Drive in such a manner that you could stop if they should dart in front of you. Parents do not encourage dangerioius behavior if you wouldn't want them doing what you are having them do if you were not there, then don't have them do it when you are there! ( I am referring to having your child cross a street at a non intersection. We are their teachers and we show them every day by our actions what we approve of) Bycicle riders: wear your helmets. Hot Lunch Meal Tickets: Please pre pay for lunches. A meal card will be issued in your child's name and lunches will be deducted from the account balance. May be purchased in any amount. Write check out to Abbott Loop School. Thank you for your assistance in making sure your child has a meal and for making all of our jobs easier. Nurse's Notes: Make sure medications are brought in to the nurse with a physicians statement for them. Immunizations records are current and updated each time they are received. Make sure the nurse is aware of any new or long term health issues.

Abbot Loop now has an account at Titlewave Used Bookstore. So if you have too many books please consider taking them to Titlewave and ask them to be credited to the Abbott Loop Elementary School account. Our teachers and staff will then be able to pick up books for their classes through this account.
