School Delayed

Now To Begin August 2008
Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in entering your child in the Alaska Native Cultural Charter School. We postponed the school opening for one year to secure a safe, quality building and for additional preparations of the school. The two best building structures that we found did not meet our standards for updated safety code requirements of a school. An opening date of August 2007 could not be met for a quality school. cont'd >

Lottery Positions Protected

All of the students who have been lotted into the school this year will remain with the number they currently hold.

We now have 100 applications! Selections will continue once a quarter until the 180-student cap is met. At that time, a waiting list will be established for students above the 180-student cap.
