ANCCS Preschool Program

Our program focuses on helping children to gain skills and knowledge to enter Kindergarten being ready to achieve and excel in school.

The students will learn skills within interest areas. The core program is called Creative Curriculum.

The interest areas and experiences include: Art, Blocks, Discovery, Dramatic Play, Table Games, Computers, Listening Centers, Cooking, Outdoor Exploration, Movement, a Library and Cooking.

The ANCCS preschool students also learn through our Houghton Mifflin Pre-K Reading Program. This program focuses on a theme for three weeks and some of the theme materials are used throughout the interest areas to develop more thematic comprehension. Program Information:

  • The child must be four years old by September 1st of the current school year.

  • The program follows the regular school calendar and it runs from 9:00 a.m.  to 1:00 p.m.  Lunch is provided, breakfast is also available beginning at 8:30.
