Tom Grenier, Head Coach.
I grew up skiing in east Anchorage and have taught and coached at Bartlett High School since 2001. For several years, I've coached the Hawks with the Anchorage Junior Nordic League and have also worked with Alaska Nordic Racing. I've also coached on several Team Alaska Junior Olympic and Arctic Winter Games ski teams and attended two comprehensive coaching seminars put on by the U.S. Ski Team at Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs and Lake Placid, New York. In the six years I've coached at Bartlett we've placed two kids on Junior Olympic Ski Teams and produced a medallist at the national championships. It's my hope that this off-season training program will provide kids interested in ski racing with a chance to dream big and realize their goals.E-mail: Grenier_Tom@asdk12.org

Petra Banks, Assist Coach
Petra skied as a Hawk in the Anchorage Junior Nordic League through middle school before racing through high school as a member of Alaska Winter Stars and several very successful Service HIgh School ski teams. In 2000 she represented Alaska as a member of the Arctic Winter Games Cross country ski team where she medalled. Petra has coached at both West and Bartlett high schools and works in local educational theater when she's not ski coaching.
