Birchwood ABC
The BAC (Birchwood Advisory Committee) is a group of parents, teacher representative, and principal who meet monthly to 1) Support and uphold the Birchwood ABC philosophy, 2) Provide a parental point of view in resolving questions and problems regarding Philosophy and Curriculum, 3) Support the continued excellence of the Birchwood program through text reviews, resolutions, and recommendations for curriculum changes as needed, and 4) Complete those items listed as annual goals in support of academic excellence.

We meet on the third Monday of each month in the library from 7-9 pm. The BAC encourages anyone to attend the monthly meeting as an observer or participant. We strongly encourage those who may be considering becoming a board member to attend one or more meetings before our annual May elections.

We have a bulletin board next to the Special Ed Department, with all the BAC members and monthly meeting minutes posted for your convenience. Please feel free to contact any board member if you should have questions or comments. Contact can be made through Julie or Patria in the front office.
