Shelf Helpers
These are 5th &
6th grade students who help keep books shelved and keep the library
neat. They also escort guest readers when them come to visit and
assist other students in the library.
Battle
of the Books
This is a book trivia program sponsored by the Alaska Association of School Librarians each year. Students read from a selected list of titles and are then quizzed about the characters, plots, & settings. Bowman tied for 3rd/4th grade state champions in 1996.
