Anchorage Municipal Libraries: you can find information here on library hours and the resources and collection at the library. It is divided into time periods from early history to today. There is information on groups of women and individuals. -
The Anchorage Daily News: Today's paper is available from the homepage and you can access articles from the last week using a free search function. To have access to anything older than last week, a subscription is needed or you must provide payment information.- http://www.adn.com/  "Alaska Animals": This site covers just about every Alaskan animal and includes pictures.  "In Alaska" is a commercial site that has collected some really good information. Use the destinations tab towards the top for information on different cities and villages and use the features and research tab for information on animals, natural phenomena, and more.
