Chester Valley
is fortunate to have Laurie Hogan on our side. Mrs. Hogan is
the Chester Valley/Susitna Community School Coordinator. She
has brought many wonderful things to our school. She is a great
asset.
Assets, by definition,
are advantages or resources. They are your talents, your experiences,
your hopes, dreams and more. Mrs. Hogan recently facilitated
an assembly to discuss the concept of assets with the student
body.

Not only was
the assembly informative, it was also entertaining. Through portrayal
in a skit, several students demonstrated to the audiences what
to do when confronted with an interpersonal conflict. |
|
The assembly
was provided the students with a forum to learn alternatives
to violence and coping skills for real-world conflicts. Chester
Valley's students will carry these skills with them the rest
of their lives. We even learned something new... |
