Not all trees are equal. Chester Valley's tree, which sits prominently within Ashley Homestores, is adorned with edible decorations. The decorating of the tree was in response to Ashley's seasonal contest to support the Food Bank of Alaska. Contestants are encouraged to place non-perishable food items below the tree. The items will be taken to the Food Bank for dispersal to the hungry. Need more incentive? Contest organizers are offering prizes of $1,000, $500, $250 and $100 for the top contributors.
