The state of Alaska offers online help to Alaskan students in grades K-12 and intro-level college students. Live help is offered seven days a week from 1 PM to 10 PM Alaska Time. WOW!

Coolest Web Aps, Ever!

Some of the applications below will require you to create an account with a user and password, and almost all will require you to have an email account (If you don't have an email account, I'd recommend talking to your folks about getting a gmail account with Google. Establishing a Google account with gmail, will enable you to create Google docs at home or school and to complete them in either place without worrying about differences in software). All the aps below offer a free application use, and some offer more advanced options with a paid membership. Be sure and check with your folks before you create accounts or purchase anything!

Blabberize allows you to take a still picture, cut out a mouth shape, and record something for your picture to say. Hit the play button, and your still picture becomes a talking movie. Be sure to use a picture YOU took to avoid copyright violation!
