You have landed in the world of Dagmara's Family Group where we're starting another exciting year of learning from each other.
This year our focus will be Structures and Functions, as we take a look at the Structure of the Earth, Famous Structures around the World, and the Structure of our Nation of Immigrants and the function of that nation in the World today. We will also take a look at our personal heritage.
In Math we'll explore functions of larger numbers and Geometry as our main focus.We will continue to be corresponding with the Alaska Group (an afterschool Club) at the Dannewerk Realschule in Schleswig, Germany. Last year, 13 students, 6 parents and the teacher of the class 8b visited former Chugach students who had travelled there in the summer of 2000. The first exciting event this year will be our trip to Outdoor School on September 24th to the 26th. We'll be reporting about it when we get back.
We are all looking forward to this and other exciting events.
