In the Spring, Middle group studied Medieval times. They made catapults, castles, costumes and lots of crafts which they sold at a May Day Fair. The proceeds from the fair were converted into pennies and added to our Pennies for Peace collection.
Middle group completed their Alaska Native Studies unit in the Fall. Click here to see some of the items they created during this unit.
A team of five sixth grade students from Dagmara's Family group participated in an educational web page contest called Thinkquest Junior. These kids, CJ, Issac, Rhyannon, Rachel and Danny, spent at least one lunch hour a week for three months developing a web site called Alaska Winter Fun.
