Look for The Scoop each Friday in your child’s mail!The Scoop is a weekly newsletter to help inform parents, students and staff at Chugach Optional School of weekly events pertinent to our school community. Distributed in children's mailboxes each Friday, the purpose of The Scoop is to improve communication throughout the Chugach Community, and to condense school-wide news into one weekly format. Reduction of paper sent home is a major goal.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN ORDER TO BE IN THE NEXT FRIDAY’S SCOOP (EXCEPT FOR INSERVICE DAYS OR HOLIDAYS, IN WHICH CASE THE DAY BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF THE SCHOOL WEEK WILL BE THE DEADLINE).
