Dimond Safe Line: 742-7030--Call to report unsafe conditions, etc. (may remain anonymous)

Careline Crisis Intervention (1-877-266-4357) - Statewide suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Alaskan residents.

STAR (Standing Together Against Rape)- 1-800-478-8999 - This is an Alaskan Crisis Line and provides counseling for sexual assault, date rape and other sexual issues.

Covenant House- 1-800-999-9999- This is a national crisis line which provides counseling for suicide, depression, relationships, drugs, alcohol,etc.

Anchorage Covenant House- (271-1255) - located at 609 F St.

National Parent Information Network: http://npin.org/ – This resource includes access to Parent News, an online magazine filled with information, news, and other resources about significant parenting issues.

Facts for Families: www.aacap.org/publications/factsfam/index.htm -- This site, developed by the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, provides a wealth of information about issues pertinent to children, adolescents, and their families.

Parenting Matters: http://lifematters.com/parentn.html – Contributions to this site come from counselors and parent educators. Topics at this forum include: a Grandparenting Column, Bridging the Generation Gap, Positive Discipline, Parenting Our Future, and so on.
