Congratulations on your successful completion of middle school. A.J. Dimond is the new home to graduates from Mears, Northern Lights, Hanshew, Central, and Romig. Whether you were a Panther or a Hawk, or joining us from another town, everyone comes together here as a Lynx.
The Guidance Office has everything you need to start off on the right track in high school. Dimond is your chance to start with a clean slate, or continue the excellence your teachers have grown to expect from you. From your first day here, do your very best. Every day counts towards your future!
Students who are involved in athletic activities must have a current physical on file and an activity participation form with the administration before they can participate in any activity, including tryouts. A student must be taking a minimum of five classes. If you have need additional information please contact the Activities Office at (907) 742-7005.
Use the following checklist as a guide to getting ready for your first day of high school...
- Find out who your Counselor will be at Dimond. Use the Counseling Page to find their picture.
- Check your Freshman year schedule. If there are any mistakes, make sure you call the Guidance Office at 742-7008 right away, so that we can fix it.
- Come prepared! Bring your schedule, pen or pencil, and a notebook to write in.
