A student's records are legal documents that are available to the student and the parents upon request.

Virtually ALL out-of-school individuals, agencies, or groups are not permitted to view a student's records without the written consent of the parents (or the student, if over 18 years of age).

· A.J. Dimond High School is NOT PERMITTED to release a student's records for the purposes of scholarships or college applications to those institutions unless the student has filled out a transcript release form. These forms are available in the Guidance Office.

All Dimond students are welcome to an UNOFFICIAL copy of their transcript of academic progress at any time. These copies can be obtained in the Guidance Office from the Registrar. UNOFFICIAL copies will be released directly to the student or parent only.

* For the purposes of college applications or scholarships, students should make sure that they have filled out a transcript release form and returned it to Guidance. OFFICIAL student transcripts will then be placed in a sealed envelope and sent directly from A.J. Dimond High School. Please be sure to provide the correct, complete mailing address of the recipient when requesting OFFICIAL transcripts to be sent.
