Digital Pipeline First item on SLED has magazines, newspapers, loads of useful and reliable references in Electric Library, Ebsco, and others. Free to all Alaska residents. Besides full-text and/or summarized articles on every imaginable subject, the Databases Special Resources include Testing and Education Resource Center (test prep), Auto Repair Reference Center, NoveList, Computer Source, Military and Government Collection, and Live Homework Help. High school and middle school students may find the Student Research Center in Ebsco particularly useful.

World Book Encyclopedia is free to all Anchorage School District students and their families. A user ID and password generally are not needed on school computers. For at home use, see red-hot bookmarks in library or ask library staff for user ID and password.
