Chat live online with admissions reps from more than 400 colleges. Video chat with students on college campuses and get a feel for student life. Watch live video presentations on essay writing, SATs, and financial aid. During this event, families may visit exhibit booths, where they may access electronic brochures and course catalogs; view campus images, videos, and pod casts; participate in real-time Instant Messaging and video chats between students and school representatives; see scheduled school specific presentations by admissions officials; find resources for students and parents; and network with other attendees.

Engineering Explorers

This program will start again in the fall 2010. This opportunity is open to any high school student interested in the science and engineering fields. This group meets every other week and will have speakers with related activities covering a wide variety of engineering fields such as: aerospace, biological, chemical, electrical, environmental, mechanical, mining, petroleum, robotics, structural and transportation engineering. Most meetings take place at BP, First Floor Conference Rooms B & C. If the venue changes it will be posted on the bulletin boards outside the CRC. Also posted will be the location of the meeting, time, and speaker(s). This event is free.

Medical Explorers

MEDICAL EXPLORERS CLUB - For all students interested in a career in the Medical field. Meetings held at Alaska Regional Hospital. Law Enforcement Explorers

Post 3126 If you are between the ages of 14 and 20 and interested in a career in law enforcement, join this group at the King Career Center in the Public Safety Class (Rm 219) from 4pm - 7pm every other Monday beginning November 8th.
