Our Administration 2009-10
Natalie Burnett, Principal Alaska has been my life-long home. My parents came to Alaska in 1967 via the United States Air Force and were stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. I grew up in the Eagle River/Chugiak area and reaped the benefits of a quality education at Chugiak High School and the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Eagle River continues to be my home. As I naturally gravitated to the world of education, learning has always been my passion. One of my greatest pleasures in life is reading a great book. I also enjoy appreciating the natural beauty around us by hiking and experiencing the great outdoors at home and abroad. I learn a great deal about life from others and the places they live. Reading, hiking, and traveling are great past times of mine, but serving a great meal to my family and friends is a simple pleasure in life. I am eager to begin the process of creating an outstanding high school which promotes both academic and personal excellence. This task will be both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to working with each of you in order to develop a school that will leave a lasting legacy of excellence for many years to come.
