East Anchorage High Alumni Site

 Thunderbirds Forever!

East Anchorage High School is dedicated to supporting the students of our fine school whether they will graduate in 2020, or did graduate thirty years ago. To that end we have created this alumni site, which we hope will provide a central point for communications among all the graduates of East Anchorage High School.

ALL EAST CLASS REUNION GROUPS! A website has been created to serve as a "clearing house" for all clases.

East High Alumni Project: Mr. Steve Plant has created a website dedicated to helping East High alumuni stay in contact. The URL is: http://thunderbirds.projectalumni.org

The idea behind this site is that it allows for everyone to keep in contact with one another while maintaining their privacy in real time. According to Mr. Plant, the site is constantly monitored to make sure no inappropriate material is ever displayed.

The most important feature of the site allows for individuals to list information about upcoming reunions in real time. All of the alumni signed up in that class year will automatically get an email letting them know that there is new reunion information available. It also provides an RSVP tool making it fun and easy for people to see how their reunion is coming along.

There is a very small one-time contribution from those who want to use the advanced features, but all of the reunion/event tools are free for everybody. Contributions are used to off-set costs, and deter trouble makers.

If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact Mr. Plant at thunderbirds@projectalumni.org.

Ms. Teresa Oxereok has created a yahoo group that she would like to share called East Anchorage High School Alumni. The address is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/east_anchorage_high_alumni/ This group is for anyone who has ties to East as student or staff. Ms. Oxereok would like to invite everyone to stop by. This is a new group so it is still very small. Come and join us and help us grow.

Ronald A. Mitchell.and friends have a web site dedicated to the East High class of 1969. Visit them at: www.east1969.org.

Jeremy Linden has started a 1993 site on myfamily.com. If people wish to join they can email him. Mr. Linden is interested in helping to organize a 1993 class reunion. Please contact him with information and ideas. You can view the site at http://www.MyFamily.com/exec?c=site&htx=main&siteid=RxFFAM.

The Class of 1991 alumni may register (for free) on www.highschoolalumni.com. You may provide contact information, reunion ideas, and preferred reunion dates on the Web site or email the information and choices to Edwin Deas at e_deas@hotmail.com. Ed Deas asks that alumni should refer other 1991 alumni to this East High site, or the Web site mentioned above so the class can get as many people involved as possible.

Steve Ives from East has created a reunion website: www.alaska.net/~sives/classof68

The reunion association also has a voice mail box for reunion information. The association will also use this voice mail system to provide new information regarding address, contact phone numbers, and other relevant association news.

For further information, contact Mr. Ron Pollack at: rpollock@jackwhite.com or rtp@alaska.net

Try: www.highschoolalumni.com for all high schools in the US. You must enter your own information, but the site is interesting to browse.
