East High School Renovation Project

The Anchorage School District has been creating a twenty-first century high school out of the mid-1970's era melange of styles that was the "old" East High School. Class rooms have been made larger, and support infrastructure has been modernized. The physical structure of the new building reflects the re-organization of East as a group of Small Learning Communities (SLC), with each "academic house" being able to offer entry-level courses in all disciplines.

If you are an alumnus of East High School, we encourage you to drop by your old Alma Mater to see its transformation. You won't believe your eyes!
