Why is music important?

Music is very important in teen’s lives. But music has been blamed for many things. For example, Rap has been criticized for all the crimes and murders in America. Rock or heavy metal is responsible for putting dark thoughts into teen’s minds. But they actually help teens through there hard problems. The crimes are mostly committed because of families with abusive backgrounds or bad parenting. In 1988 Ice-t the rapper wrote a song called “cop killa” That song made people kill cops but it wasn’t really Ice-t’s fault. Rappers are actually not that bad of people most of them donate lots of money to charities and foster homes. All over the world kids think of suicide so they use music as a outlet Korn is one of the best bands parents think give negative thoughts and feelings. So as a conclusion I think without music people would be a lot different for some people music is there life, for others its only fine every once in a while. So no matter how much you like it music has a place in every ones life.
