AVB "It's Good to be Nice" Advertisements

At middle school, students spend time studying the dynamics of bullies and how they operate and succeed, and how they can be thwarted. As part of the activities, one team made advertisements to remind other students......life is better when we all treat each other decently. Click above to see some of their work.

Goldenview Career Fair 2009

For two years, each middle school will have a Career Advisor. At Goldenview, Pam Collins is working to make our students more aware of the work world as a way of helping students understand why they do the work we do in school. On Thursday, November 5th at Career Fair, students rotated through displays to get first hand information from professionals about what their days are like and what it was in school that got them ready to have a job they love.
