GOLDENVIEW PTSA

“GET INVOLVED...... STAY CONNECTED.“

 

Our PTSA is an active part of Goldenview, responsible for bringing many programs to our students and enriching their classrooms. Your membership helps pay for many activities at Goldenview that could not happen without your support.  Please consider volunteering for the PTSA -- it’s a great way to stay connected with your student, the school and other parents.  The more parents who get involved, the better off our students will be!

Our Executive Board meets the first Tuesday each month at 6:00 PM in the Goldenview Conference Room.  We invite all PTSA members to attend.

 

By Laws Review

    Periodically the State PTA requires that the Goldenview PTSA review their
bylaws and bring them current with state requirements.  The Goldenview PTSA
Board has worked tirelessly to prepare bylaws that would meet the State
PTA's approval, which we have now received.  

 

    If any PTSA members have any objections to the new update, please contact Audrey
Kirn at klondike@chugach.net by April 30, 2012 so that those concerns can be
forwarded on to the Board.  If the majority of Goldenview PTSA members do
not have an objection to the bylaws, they will be accepted and become valid
until such time as the State PTSA requires another update.  You can read the revised set by clicking here.

The real work of PTSA is done in committees.  If you have a particular interest, please contact that chairperson.

Have you ordered your Memory Book?  Books are $35.00, but the price goes up to $40.00 on November 1^st.    

Order form and money can be turned in to the front office.

Photographers:  We need parents who are already taking pictures at their student’s activities to send us copies.  Please contact Denise Andersen at theandersens2@gmail.com.

 Sunshinegrams!! 

Sunshineagrams will be read over the morning broadcast to all students at Goldenview.  Grams are $5.00 and can only be 8 words or less and positive.  Complete form and turn into the front office.

 

 Membership Form

Please join.  The more parents that are signed up, the more our support shows.  Your dues are used at Goldenview to help the school. Forms are available at the school office or you can download by clicking HERE, filling it out and mailing it.
