Goldenview Middle School will be
returning to Washington, DC this Spring
Break. This will be the third time that
Mrs. Collins and Mr. Thompson have teamed up to bring Goldenview students to
our Nation’s Capitol. On this
once-in-a-lifetime trip we will visit Colonial Williamsburg, the District
of Columbia, Philadelphia, and Amish
Country. Our trip will begin where our
Early European American’s lives began, Jamestown
Settlement. We will follow our history
through colonial status as we visit Colonial Williamsburg, and then
on to revolution as we visit the battlefields of Yorktown. While visiting Washington, DC, you will
see our Nation’s most sacred treasures at the Smithsonian, and visit our most
recognized monuments and memorials. We
will visit Capitol Hill, honor our soldiers at Arlington, and
possibly viist the White House. While in
Philadelphia we will
visit the birthplace of our Constitution and American Government. Please see our brochure and tentative
itinerary below. We will have a parent
meeting soon! Join us!
