Text Box: FROM THE CAFETERIA

At the middle school level, children cannot charge lunches. We have a computer system so that each student has a personal meal “account.” This is a debit account (not a credit account). Money is deposited into the account in advance. You may pay into this account with cash or check, and the student may only purchase lunch items on this account. During lunch, students enter their student ID number on the pin pad, which is located at the cafeteria counter. The purchases are deducted from the student account. The cashier will let the student know the balance at the time of purchase.
