Text Box: Platinum Team
Classroom Decorum
Platinum Team encourages an atmosphere of mutual respect. We do our best to provide a safe and productive learning environment in which each student feels accepted, and we expect our students to contribute to this by being prepared for class, staying on task, maintaining a positive attitude, and being kind to peers and faculty. All of our students are representatives of the Platinum Team, and we expect them to uphold a certain standard of behavior and appearance in and out of school, including elective classes, hallways, the lunchroom, field trips, sports and activities, and while interacting with other adults.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Be in your assigned seat before the tardy bell rings.
Stay in your assigned seat throughout class.
Come to class prepared with all necessary materials, including two writing utensils, paper, class binder, reading book, and homework.
Listen quietly and respectfully when the teacher or your classmates are speaking.
Raise your hand and wait to be called on before contributing to discussion or asking a question.
Treat classroom supplies and materials responsibly.
If you borrow classroom supplies, put them back where they belong. You will not be excused from class until your area is clean.
The bell does not matter. The teacher excuses you from class, not the bell. Do not start packing up your stuff before this time, and please do not line up at the door.
Treat your classmates and their property with respect and kindness. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Note: We expect the students to behave with the utmost respect when there is a substitute teacher in the classroom. Students will receive an automatic morning detention if their name is mentioned by the substitute as being a disruptor. More severe offenses will be dealt with per team policy.

CONSEQUENCES
