One-Way, Single-Lane Traffic

This is a one-way road.  DO NOT enter this road from the north.

DO NOT park your vehicle in this area unless you are in an legal parking space.

Two-Way Traffic:

This is a two-way road.  You may enter the school grounds either through the north or south entrance of the school. 

Visitor Parking:

Visitors are to use visitor-designated parking while on the school grounds.  These areas are marked in green on the map.  Visitors may also park in the parking lot at the rear of the school.

 

NO double parking on the school grounds.

Fire Lane/Bus Lane:

DO NOT park along the curb in front of the school.  This is a fire lane as well as a bus lane.  DO NOT park in a bus lane - even for after-school activity pick up.
The above listed traffic rules are in place to protect both the students and everyone else who is at the school.

 If you need to pick up your child after school, please be sure to allow enough time so that you may find a parking space while you wait.

 

Traffic Patterns:

 

There have been numerous concerns with parents dropping students off in the morning.  Please make sure to obey the traffic signs and directions.
 

  • Always obey the speed limit.

  • Watch for people crossing the roadway from parked vehicles.

  • Enter the front area from the south entrance so you are going the correct way on the one-way driveway.

    If you are picking students up, please continue the directions above and also:
     

  • Do not block busses or park in the bus spots.

  • Park only in designated parking areas.

  • You may wait in you car next to the curb behind the bus areas.

  • Do not park double lanes.  The center of the roadway must be left open for traffic.

    Morning Security:

    In the morning, the only doors open will be the front doors (by the flag pole) and the bus doors.  Students arriving before 7:30 AM will be monitored in the MPR and not allowed in the halls until five minutes before their activity.  From 7:30 – 8:00 students remain in the front foyer area.  At 8:00 they are released to go to their lockers and classes.  Please plan your arrival time to school accordingly.
