Welcome to Kasuun Elementary School's Web Page. Kasuun Elementary, nestled in the foothills of the Chugach Mountains, occupies a location of unique beauty. Kasuun School opened its door for the first time in the fall of 1996 for 600 students. Taken from an Athabascan word, meaning beautiful place, "Kasuun" represents both the land without and the people with in our school.

Kasuun Elementary School provides a complete instructional program in kindergarten through grade 6. Our educational program targets the academic achievement and enrichment for all students. We stress a strong commitment to the relationship between home and school and encourage our parents to become involved in visiting and working at school.
