I am Liz Lake, the Career Resource Advisor for King Career Center. I am here to assist students with post-secondary plans for college, trade school or anything in-between. The senior year of high school goes by very quickly and it is important for students to plan ahead. The Career Resource Center is filled with information that will help students and parents with these plans. There are college catalogs, registration and practice test books for the SAT and ACT, scholarship applications, financial aid information and job postings.

An important tool for seniors is the scholarship portfolio. There are links to the left that can provide a starting point for this process, and I can also guide students in building a scholarship portfolio.

The Career Resource Center is located in the Student Services area at KCC. I am available during regular school hours and can be reached through the e-mail link above, or by calling 742-8999. Please check back occasionally for new links and information relevant to career and college planning, or stop by and see what we have to offer!
