If so, you could be having Carrs/Safeway donate money to Mears Middle School while you just keep doing the same thing youŐve always doneÉshop!
All it takes is a couple minutes (one time) to sign up for eSCRIP.
eScrip is a corporation facilitating relationships between commerce and community.
They get companies to sign up to support causes benefiting children in return for customer loyalty. In the case of Carrs/Safeway all you have to do is register your Safeway Club Card with eScrip and each time you reach the shop, they send a percentage of your purchases to Mears. ItŐs 1% for purchase from $0-299 and so forth.
Other participating merchants in Anchorage are Eddie Bauer, who donates 5% of all purchases you make on a single credit or debit card you have registered with eScrip.
And Office Max donates 3% of purchases on a single registered credit or debit card.
It's simple, fast and you never have to think about it. And you can track your purchases on the eScrip website to see how much your school is receiving.

Many stores all over the country participate. That means that grandparents, aunts, uncles or friends in the lower 48 can register and donate to Mears in Alaska! When you (or grandma) register be sure to use the Mears identifier (Group I.D. #6663497). See the web site for a complete list of merchants.
